Leanne Shaughnessy is an associate with the firm's Toronto Intellectual Property Group. She represents clients in all aspects of intellectual property prosecution and enforcement. Leanne has assisted with injunctive proceedings in trade-mark and patent infringement matters as well as all aspects of litigation involving trade-marks and copyright.
Leanne has appeared in proceedings before the Federal Court of Canada and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Leanne has also filed domain name complaints for online arbitration and has participated in mediation sessions.
Leanne provides advice on IP-related issues affecting corporate transactions, including conducting IP searches and due diligence and preparing IP licences and assignments.
