Al Gourley and Louis-François Hogue quoted in Les Affaires article on Quebec-U.K. trade relations
April 10, 2008
Al Gourley and Louis-François Hogue, partners at the law firm Fasken Martineau, were asked to comment on trade between the United Kingdom and Quebec in a special section on the subject published in the newspaper Les Affaires.
In particular, the article reports on the increasing complexity of these investments, which now go in both directions: British interests in Quebec are now coupled with Quebec interests in the U.K. According to Al Gourley and Louis-François Hogue, the dynamics are greatly simplified by correspondences in mentalities and legislation.
