Fasken Martineau client receives Award for biotech innovation

Vancouver - Lignol Energy Corporation, a leading Vancouver-based technology company in the cellulosic ethanol biorefining sector, recently received the Early Stage Company of the Year – Industrial and Agricultural at the BIOTECanada Gold Leaf Awards. This recognition is given annually to a company that has distinguished itself from its peers with demonstrated technology innovation.
In March, LifeSciences British Columbia honoured Lignol with the Emerging Life Sciences Company of the Year award. The company also won this year's British Columbia Technology Industry Association’s Most Promising Pre-Commercial Technology Award at the 15th annual Technology Impact Awards on June 12.
