Xeno C. Martis

Partner
Xeno C. Martis specializes in the area of corporate financing and heads up the Firm's Banking and Finance Practice Group in Québec. He has led teams of lawyers acting on behalf of lending syndicates and investors in the areas of project financing, public and private take overs, asset acquisitions, structured leveraged lease financing, structured synthetic lease financing and debt restructuring and workouts. In this capacity, he has had the responsibility to negotiate, prepare and finalize all aspects of these transactions, including the corporate structuring, the credit agreements, the leveraged leases, the synthetic leases, the security documents, the investment documents and all documentation pertaining to the realization of security, the restructuring of bank debt and the conversion of bank debt into distress preferred shares.
