Allistair Booth

Allistair Booth is a partner in Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP and Fasken Martineau LLP (London) and a member of the Technology and Intellectual Property and Life Sciences practice groups.

Allistair has been providing commercial, regulatory and intellectual property advice to companies in that sector since 1997. Prior to joining Fasken Martineau, Allistair had specialised in intellectual property law for 10 years. He is on the Steering Committee of the BioIndustry Association’s Fledgling Companies Club and, along with Stuart Richards, is the firm’s representative to BioLegis, its European wide network of life sciences specialist law firms (see www.BioLegis.net).

Allistair regularly lectures on product lifecycle management strategies and outsourcing of manufacturing. Recent transactions include providing advice in respect listing of a biotechnology company on AIM, drafting and negotiating a number of option agreements, an in-licence of a pre-clinical compound, an in-licence of a phase II/III compound, an out- licence or a phase III compound and the sale of rights to a marketed product. In addition he advises clients on product development strategies, product life cycle management strategies, distribution agreements, R&D agreements and contract manufacture agreements.
