Aubrey E. Kauffman

Aubrey E. Kauffman joined the firm as a partner in 2006. He is a member of the Toronto office's Insolvency and Restructuring Group. He began his career as a general/commercial litigator in 1979 with a prestigious commercial law firm based in Toronto, where he soon specialized in remedies and, in particular, bankruptcies, receiverships, security enforcement, construction line enforcement and related matters. During his 27-year career with the firm, he established and co-chaired their Restructuring and Insolvency Group. For the past 15 years he has focused on advocacy matters almost exclusively related to insolvency matters.

Aubrey is a member of the prestigious Insolvency Institute of Canada and was a former Chair of the Ontario Bar Association's Insolvency Section. He is recognized in the insolvency and restructuring area by both Lexpert and the Best Lawyers in Canada.
