Alain Y. Dussault

Alain Y. Dussault practices in the area of intellectual property law, more specifically in areas related to patents, trade-marks and copyright. He regularly represents clients before Québec courts and the Federal Court.

He acts in matters of complex litigation dealing with information technology and new communication medias, such as the Internet. He provides counselling related to the registration, collection, management and protection of intellectual property portfolios.

Alain has acquired considerable experience in the field of trade-marks, representing several large companies specialized in the sale of luxury brands. He has therefore developed experience related to major trade-mark portfolios. He specializes in Anton Piller type seizures.

He has also been involved in several actions concerning the infringement and validity of invention patents.

His extensive knowledge of all areas of intellectual property law and his practical common sense are well appreciated by the firm's clients.
