The Globe and Mail
June 29, 2009

Anthony Baldanza, Chair of the Antitrust/Competition & Marketing Group, is quoted in The Globe and Mail's Report on Business, commenting on the implications of a proposed law that would allow energy firms to collaborate with one another on new oil sands projects.

Excerpt

"'It's a huge win for buyers of services, because they can now collude, if you want to put it that way," said Anthony Baldanza[...]"But if you're a seller you're going to be facing more powerful purchasers than in the past.'"

[...]"'What this means is that the labour folks can be looking at aggregations of petroleum companies buying their labour services at, in theory, lower prices.'"
