Antoine Aylwin, lawyer at Fasken Martineau, elected chair of the board of directors of the Young Bar Association of Montreal

Mtre Antoine Aylwin has been appointed chair of the board of directors of the Young Bar Association of Montreal for 2009-2010.
“Fasken Martineau has a long-standing tradition of community involvement and, like Antoine, encourages its younger lawyers to become socially involved,” stated Claude Auger, managing partner of Fasken Martineau’s Québec region.
The mission of the YBAM is : to defend and promote the interests of its members, and to provide pro bono legal consultation and information services to various segments of the population. Overall, the YBAM works to improve access to justice and contribute to social well-being.
Called to the Bar in 2003, Antoine Aylwin, practices administrative, civil and commercial litigation. His practice focuses mainly on the areas of access to information, the protection of personal information in the public and private sectors, extraordinary remedies such as injunctions, agricultural law and estate litigation.
