This publication provides a basic introduction to insolvency law, explains the various risks to an outsourcing arrangement caused by the insolvency of a service provider and proposes methods by which customers can minimize and manage such risks, and proposes that each customer develop a critical response plan so in the early stages of the insolvency or bankruptcy, when timing is critical, the customer is prepared to respond to the risk.
