Lorene Novakowski's practice includes working closely with both start-up and established companies in the new and green economies to assist them through the employment contract, pay, benefits and other issues that come into play in their fight to attract and hold the best and the brightest.

Derek Knoechel will take the lead to address how the unions are responding, exploiting or failing to adapt to labour supply issues and the changing demographics of both the general work force and their membership.

Nicola Sutton brings her experience to address the issue of abolition of mandatory retirement.

Thora Sigurdson will bring insights gained through her practice involving immigration and foreign worker issues to this session.
