See Blair Run: Fasken Martineau lawyer and Olympic gold medalist to carry the Olympic Torch
February 8, 2010
Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law and litigation firm, announced today that Blair Horn, a partner with the firm and Olympic gold medalist, will run in the Olympic Torch Relay at 1 pm (PST) on Wednesday, February 10, 2010.
“As a former Olympian, it’s a thrill to carry the torch here at home. Sport remains an important part of my life and I am very lucky to share this Olympic moment with friends and family,” said Blair Horn, partner with Fasken Martineau in Vancouver.
Blair won a gold medal at the 1984 Summer Games in Los Angeles, rowing in the stroke seat of the Canadian men’s eight team. From there, he went to law school and now practises law with Fasken Martineau where he focuses on mergers and acquisitions, public and private financings, and corporate governance matters.
