Brian Wright

Partner
Brian Wright is a partner in the firm's Banking & Finance practice group and is a former Chair of the Business Law Section for the firm's Ontario Region. His practice is focused on representing financial institutions in the structuring, documentation and negotiation of complex lending and other debt financing transactions, both domestic and cross-border. Such transactions include leveraged financings, syndicated credits, secured loans, acquisition financings, project financings, first lien/second lien financings, asset-based lending, monetization of instalment receivables and other specialized financing transactions in a wide range of industries including automotive, mining, forestry, transportation, energy, pipeline, financial services, commercial real estate, food and beverage, gaming, retail, media, technology and infrastructure. Brian also has extensive experience in representing financial institutions with respect to debt restructurings and intercreditor arrangements.
