Cerys Williams

Cerys Williams is a solicitor and a Consultant in the employment practice group.

Cerys provides practical and commercially driven advice on all aspects of the employment relationship from boardroom disputes and high-value litigation, to day to day employment law counselling and support. Her practice has an international emphasis and she frequently advises on cross-border issues. She is accustomed to working closely with UK based and North American clients as a single liaison point on pan-European projects.

Cerys also has particular expertise in TUPE (UK business transfer legislation) and is often involved in the employment aspects of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, investment rounds and capital markets activity. She has advised on the employment aspects of numerous outsourcing arrangements.

Cerys has significant experience in the technology sector and supports businesses in this sector throughout their life cycle, from a founder with a good idea to IPO and beyond. She has frequently assisted these companies and others in securing their key business interests by drafting and enforcing confidential information and non-compete protections.

In addition to her employment law practice, Cerys advises on data protection and privacy issues.
