The A-Z of Civil Litigation: "Everything your mentor wants you to know, but may not have time to tell
you". This course, which ran to rave reviews in January 2008, is designed for lawyers in the first two years of practice, lawyers changing areas, and those who want a refresher.
From Fasken Martineau, this course features several of our litigators:
- Mark D. Andrews, QC, presents Efficient Litigation, which examines proportionality in practice, litigation planning and tools, and the role of the counsel.
- Mark Pontin presents Privilege, focusing on how to recognize and protect documents covered by soliticitor-client privilege, and litigation and solicitor's brief privilege. The presentation also examines how to defend an application for disclosure of documents over which privilege has been claimed.
- Thora Sigurdson presents on Organizing Your Evidence (Including Documents) and on Cross-Examination.
