Corina S. Weigl

Partner

Corina Weigl is a partner with Fasken Martineau. She focuses her practice on estate and family business succession planning, including wills and trusts, corporate re-organizations, marriage contracts, estate administration, charities and not-for-profit law. When dealing with planning matters, clients have commended Corina on her ability to address complex legal issues. Corina also represents clients in both contentious and non-contentious estate litigation matters including will challenges, mental capacity matters, applications for advice, direction of the court and passing of fiduciary accounts. Clients, colleagues and peers acknowledge her sensitive and insightful approach to clients' affairs, and consider Corina to be a practitioner who provides timely, pragmatic advice in a cost-effective way.

Since 2002, Corina has received a Lexpert ranking of "Up and Coming" in her practice area. Prior to joining the firm, she was a law clerk for the Chief Justice of the Ontario Court (General Division). She joined Fasken Martineau in 1996, becoming a partner in 2002. Corina is the recipient of the Hoffstein Book Prize, a peer nominated award recognizing professional excellence and contribution to the Bar.
