Darrell Wickstrom's practice covers a broad range of tax and corporate/commercial matters, including estate planning and estate administration. He advises the owners of closely held companies, and assists clients in business succession planning. He has particular expertise in shareholders agreements. He provides advice to fiduciaries, including pension plan trustees, regarding the administration of complex trusts and estates. He has significant experience drafting wills and trusts, powers of attorney and representation agreements. He regularly advises members and boards of not-for-profit organizations.
Darrell holds an LL.M. in U.S. Tax and is an adjunct professor of law at the University of British Columbia. Earlier in his legal career, Darrell was seconded to one of Tokyo's largest law firms where he was involved in a wide variety of international transactions. He continues to provide advice regarding Canada-Japan commercial transactions.
