David Connick is a Partner in Fasken Martineau LLP (London) and is Head of the Real Estate practice group.

David has extensive experience in the commercial property market, having acted for a whole spectrum of clients both private and public and both institutional and entrepreneurial for many years. He is regarded as being unusually commercial in his approach to transactions and clients and colleagues alike seek his advice on transaction strategy and negotiation and for practical solutions to problems.

David acts for individual and corporate property investors in the acquisition and sale of investment properties both at auction and by private treaty and for landlords in the acquisition, management and sale of shopping centres and property portfolios. His work extends to the granting or taking of leases of offices, shops and industrial and commercial premises and the acquisition of sites for development. David also has a wealth of experience in the leisure industry having acted for a well-known multi-national leisure operator taking leases on a number of their bowling alleys as well as for a number of restaurant, night club and public house operators . He has also acted for banks and other financial institutions taking security for commercial loans, for acquisitions or developments.
