Daye Kaba

Associate

Daye is an associate in the Global Mining Group. His practice focuses primarily on mining-related securities and commercial law matters. On the securities side, he is involved in advising corporations and securities dealers on equity and debt issues by way of public offerings and private placements. He also advises on stock exchange listings, redomicilings, compliance with continuous disclosure requirements, and assists companies with regard to M&A transactions and asset purchases. On the commercial side, Daye advises companies with respect to the acquisition of mineral rights in domestic and foreign jurisdictions, and drafts and negotiates commercial mining agreements, including option, joint venture, royalty, and other mining-related agreements. He is also involved in advising governments with respect to the drafting and updating of their mining legislation.

Prior to joining the firm, Daye worked in the project finance department at the Paris office of a New York-based law firm.
