De Beers Canada and Mountain Province Diamonds enter into revised and restated Gahcho Kué joint venture agreement

On July 6, 2009, De Beers Canada Inc. and Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. entered into an amended and restated joint venture agreement in respect of the Gahcho Kué diamond project located in Canada's Northwest Territories. This agreement replaces the joint venture agreement entered into by the participants in 2002.
Robert Shirriff and Krisztian Toth of Fasken Martineau advised De Beers Canada on the negotiation of this agreement.
