Darrell Wickstrom's practice focuses on personal tax and estate planning, with a particular emphasis on Canada-U.S. matters. He advises on the taxation of closely held companies, and assists clients in business succession planning. He provides advice to fiduciaries, including pension plan trustees, regarding the administration of complex trusts and estates.
Darrell holds an LL.M. in U.S. Tax and is an adjunct professor of law at the University of British Columbia. From 1992 to 1994, Darrell was seconded to one of Tokyo's largest law firms where he was involved in a wide variety of international transactions. He continues to provide advice regarding Canada-Japan commercial transactions.
