Survey Finds US Companies Ill-prepared for New Canadian Anti-Spam Law
Fasken Martineau released today a new survey of marketing executives primarily based in the United States that revealed an overwhelming lack of preparedness for a new Canadian law that aims to regulate unsolicited electronic commercial messages, commonly called "spam."

High Honour: Fasken Martineau partner elected president of ITechLaw
Fasken Martineau announced today that John Beardwood, partner and member of the Corporate/Commercial and Technology and Intellectual Property groups, was elected as President of the International Technology Lawyers Association (ITechLaw) in May 2012. John is the 31st president of ITechLaw, and notably the youngest president ever elected to the 41-year old association.
