Operation Update is a one day seminar intended to update generalists, in-house counsel, and specialists on a variety of practice areas with reviews of significant changes in legislation, case law, policy and administration.

A variety of lectures are offered simultaneously to allow participants to choose sessions that are of interest and relevant to their practice. Written materials are provided for all topics covered in the program.

The program was Chaired by Jennifer McAleer, a partner in the firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group.

In 2009, Neil Smiley, a partner who specializes on Real Estate Development delivered the Municipal and Planning Law Update. Laura West, an associate in the firm's Trusts, Wills, Estates and Charities Group gave two Estate Law Updates.

In 2010, Laura spoke once again on updates to Estate Law. Paul Casuccio, a Partner who specialize in Taxation spoke on HST Tax Law and Rosalind Cooper, a Partner who specializes in Environmental Law provided an update on for that practice area.
