On February 23, 2007, Agropur Cooperative, Canada's largest dairy cooperative, acquired 51% of the shares of Bright Cheese House that it did not already own so that Agropur owned 100% of the shares of Bright Cheese. Based in Woodstock, Ontario, Bright Cheese is a company that specializes in the packaging of cheese products destined for the industrial and retail markets.

Agropur was advised in this transaction by a team from Fasken Martineau that included Gary Fogler, Diane Bertrand and Yvon Martineau.
