Allan Beach's general business law and corporate finance practice emphasizes transactional mergers and acquisitions, as well as the debt and equity financing of corporations, partnerships, limited partnerships, co-ventures and other projects and entities, by way of both private placement and public offering, with specific regard to the taxation of both domestic and cross-border transactions.
In addition to his extensive mergers and acquisitions experience, Allan has particular experience with flow through shares, exchangeable share structures, public labour-sponsored venture capital corporations, joint ventures, domestic and offshore structured finance entities, limited partnership syndications, registered tax shelters and other government incentive financings. He is or has been a director of a number of public companies and venture capital funds.
Allan joined the firm as an associate in 1981 and became a partner in 1986. He is a member of the firm's Emerging Global Business Group.
