Amélie joined the Fasken Martineau team as a student in the summer of 2007. She completed her law degree (LL.B.) in April 2008 at the University of Montreal. While studying law, Amélie was part of the Model UN delegation from the University of Montreal. She also took a course in moot court. This experience provided her the opportunity to sharpen her pleading skills and allowed her to write a factum of the Court of Appeal. Before attending law school, she obtained her D.E.C. in Human Sciences from Jean-de-Brébeuf College.
Prior to joining Fasken Martineau, Amélie studied at the China University of Political Science & Law in Beijing. . She studied European law at Oxford University in England in the summer of 2007. In the fall of 2007, Amélie also attended Oxford University as part of an exchange program.
Amélie loves to travel; she worked for a few months in London, England, and has visited many European and Asian countries. An avid sports enthusiast, Amélie plays soccer and enjoys jogging and yoga.
