Anil Aggarwal has a broad corporate and securities law practice that includes extensive experience in public and private mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, corporate governance and the structuring of innovative investment products.
Anil regularly acts as counsel to senior management, boards of directors and major shareholders of public and private corporations as well as to investment funds, investment dealers and advisors and investment fund managers. He has advised clients in virtually all aspects of the manufacturing, distribution and management of numerous Canadian and offshore investment vehicles.
Anil joined Fasken Martineau as a summer student in 1995, became an associate in 1998 and a partner in 2003. He is currently our Chair, Business Law (Ontario), having previously served as Vice-Chair since 2007. Anil was recognized by Lexpert® as a "Rising Star: Leading Lawyer Under 40" in Canada in 2010 and named to its list of "Canadian Corporate Lawyers to Watch" in 2011.
