On October 7, 2008, Antisoma Plc, a biopharmaceutical company that develops cancer drugs, announced that it had entered a collaboration and licensing agreement with The Institute of Cancer Research and Cancer Research Technology Limited. Under the agreement, Antisoma has acquired rights to develop and commercialise novel anti-cancer compounds called PPM1D (protein phosphatase magnesium-dependent 1 δ) inhibitors.
