ArcelorMittal Dofasco acquires 49% stake in automotive industry joint venture

On June 3, 2010, ArcelorMittal Tailored Blanks Americas Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Luxembourg-based ArcelorMittal S.A., acquired a 49% stake in DLWB, LLC, a unit of Delaco Steel Corp, a Dearborn, Michigan based steel part supplier. The joint venture will be called Delaco AMTB and will operate laser welding plants in Dearborn and in Tonawanda, New York that primarily serve the automotive industry.
