Azlinda Ariffin-Boromand

Azlinda Ariffin-Boromand is a Partner at Fasken Martineau LLP and a member of the Corporate/Commercial practice group.

Azlinda qualified in 1993 as a Barrister in the UK and is a member of Gray's Inn. She practised as an Advocate and Solicitor in Malaysia for 12 years between 1994 and 2006 specialising in corporate, commercial, mergers & acquisitions and Islamic financing before moving to the UK to re-qualify as a solicitor of England & Wales in 2007. She currently practises both Malaysian and English laws.

Azlinda's practice covers all areas of corporate work, including cross border mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, joint ventures and corporate restructuring. She has been involved with various cross border mergers & acquisitions, equity financings and corporate reorganisations involving both private and public companies listed on Bursa Saham Kuala Lumpur and AIM Market acting for both issuers and sponsors.

Azlinda is a member of Asia Pacific practice group and advises Malaysian and Asian companies with regard to fundraising and listing on AIM Market as well as their investments in UK and Asia. Her clients currently include Malaysian government/sovereign funds and government related companies.
