Benoît Mailloux specializes in litigation, particularly the areas of general civil liability, insurance law and labour law. He represents several insurance companies and has developed a particular expertise in the field of professional liability, acting regularly in the defence of dentists, lawyers, engineers and surveyors and other professionals as clients of these insurance companies.
In his labour law practice, Mr. Mailloux has developed substantial expertise in the field of social affairs through his representation of a large number of hospitals in the Québec City region in grievance arbitration cases. He also advises these hospitals on the application and interpretation of the relevant collective agreements in this sector.
