Bruce Blain is a partner in the Toronto business law department. He is experienced in a broad range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and debt and equity financings, where he has acted for both public and private issuers, as well as partnership, joint venture and shareholder arrangements. Bruce has acted for various mining industry clients in connection with the acquisition and disposition of interests in mining operations and properties, both within Canada and abroad, project financing and the structuring of mining ventures. He has also been involved in the purchase and sale of businesses in a wide range of other industries, including steel making, manufacturing, high tech, financial services and consulting and professional services. His experience also includes public markets reorganization and acquisition transactions through amalgamations and plans of arrangement.
