Catherine Audet is a paralegal of the Banking & Finance Practice Group at Fasken Martineau office since 2007.

With respect to financings, purchase or sale of assets, she participates in the due diligence process by conducting searches in various registers, including Register of personal and movable real rights, Registries of the Quebec Ministry of Justice, Superintendent of Bankruptcy, Quebec Enterprise Register, Industry Canada, the Bank of Canada and the Personal Property Security Registry of other Canadian provinces. She analyzes the results of these searches and drafts all necessary search reports for the preparation of legal opinions rendered by lawyers.

Finally, she prepares and registers the requisitions of registrations connected with securities and their discharge, both in the provincial and national level.
