Catherine Isabelle specializes in business law, particularly in mergers, acquisitions and securities. She has collaborated on a number of complex transactions on behalf of major public and private companies, such as Cossette Inc., Van Houtte Inc.,Transat A.T. Inc., BAA plc, Telesystem Wireless International Inc. and Rogers Communications Inc. Catherine has also been involved in public and private financing through share issues and debt instruments (including cross-border issues) in particular for National Bank of Canada, the Yellow Pages Income Fund, Groupe Aeroplan Inc., Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services Inc. and the Public Sector Pension Investment Board. A large portion of Catherine's practice involves counselling open corporations on the obligations imposed by regulatory authorities and corporate governance. Catherine sits on the Board of Directors and on the strategic and the social development committees of Groupe L'Itinéraire. Moreover, in 2008 and 2009, she was a member of the honorary committee for the Rogers Cup players' gala, benefiting the Récréo-Tennis program in its mission to promote tennis in Québec schools.
