Christophe Fichet is a partner in our Paris office. His regulatory law expertise spans the fields of telecommunications, media, technology and personal data.
In addition to his active practice in France, Christophe is involved in a number of projects and transactions in Africa and the Middle East for international, regional and national institutions and organizations. This includes implementing calls for tender procedures with a view to licensing, preparing legislation or reforms to regulatory frameworks, developing public-private partnerships in network infrastructure development, and advising on privatizations. Christophe also works on behalf of private companies, including traders, investors, equipment manufacturers, service and content providers.
Christophe's practice extends to disputes before market regulators and competition authorities. He has developed particular experience in cross-border litigation, particularly related to discovery procedures in France.
Christophe has also developed expertise in the life sciences and biotech industries, dealing with the regulatory, contractual and intellectual property aspects of medications (molecule development, distribution, promotion, partnerships and biomedical research) and medical devices. He also assists governments and health agencies to reform and restructure their public healthcare systems.
As a lecturer at the University of Paris XI, Christophe teaches a course on telecommunications contracts within the "Space Activities and Telecommunications Law" department.
Christophe participated in the working sessions of the Commission Particulière du Débat Public sur les Nanotechnologies, a public commission set up by the French government to raise and discuss the main issues and challenges related to the development of nanotechnologies in France.
