Clarke Barnes is a partner in the Calgary Office who has practiced for more than 20 years in the area of taxation with an emphasis on domestic and cross border mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations of corporations and partnerships.
Clarke has experience in advising corporations on many facets of complex tax matters including local, national and international restructuring, oil and gas matters, flow through financings and inbound and outbound transaction structuring. Clarke has acted for clients ranging from local owner managed organizations to multinational corporations.
Prior to joining Fasken Martineau DuMoulin, Clarke practiced tax law at another Canadian national business law firm.
