Partner
Claude Auger is a member of Fasken Martineau's Partnership Board. He specializes in tax law and has developed an expertise in the areas of corporate financing, financial instruments, the purchase and sale of businesses, corporate restructuring, as well as mergers and liquidations. His experience is regularly sought on major files involving large public issues of securities on behalf of financial institutions, the establishment of complex financial structures and the restructuring of major national and international public and private corporations. As part of his practice, he has also been called upon to represent clients before Revenu Québec and the Canada Revenue Agency, and some of his interventions have led to legislative and regulatory amendments.
Claude is recognized as a Leading Practitioner and rated "Repeatedly Recommended" for the category of corporate tax in the Canadian Legal LEXPERT Directory.
