On August 25, 2009, Comaplex Minerals Corp. (TSX: CMF) announced that it had closed a bought deal private placement involving the sale of an aggregate of 5,530,000 common shares at a price of $4.25 per share for aggregate proceeds of $23,503,500.

The financing was led by BMO Capital Markets and included Haywood Securities Inc. and Research Capital Corporation.

The underwriters were advised by a team from Fasken Martineau led by Gregory Ho Yuen and including, among others, Krisztian Toth and Tanner Helwig.
