Concert Properties part of consortium awarded contract for Forensic Services and Coroner's Complex AFP project

On June 22, 2010, Infrastructure Ontario and the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services announced that the province had signed a contract with Carillion Secure Solutions to design, build, finance and maintain the Forensic Services and Coroner's Complex using Ontario's Alternative Financing and Procurement (AFP) model of project delivery. All contractual steps are complete and the financing is set. Construction will begin in August.

Concert Properties Ltd. is providing 50% of the equity investment and contributing management services to the Carillion Secure Solutions consortium.

The Complex will be located in Ontario's Downsview Complex in Toronto and will bring together on one site the Office of the Chief Coroner, the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service and the Centre of Forensic Sciences.
