On April 28, 2011, Texas-based BMC Software announced that it had acquired Coradiant Inc., the market leader in end-user experience and web application performance monitoring. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Coradiant is based in Poway, California with additional offices in Boston, Massachusetts; Montreal, Canada; and London, as well as in the Netherlands.

Coradiant was advised on Canadian aspects of this acquisition by Fasken Martineau with a team that included Michel Boislard (corporate), Jean-Philippe Mikus (technology and intellectual property) and Gilles Carli and Alain Ranger (tax).
