Daniel Picotte practices in the area of business law since being called to the Bar in 1978 and joining the firm. He became a partner of Fasken Martineau DuMoulin in 1986. Over the years, he has focused his practice on corporate governance, as well as on merger, acquisition, restructuring and financing transactions. He has distinguished himself in complex or far-reaching transactions, as senior legal counsel in areas related to mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, government corporations, financial institutions and public-private partnerships, mainly in transport and environment infrastructure programs. Contrats et usages commerciaux at the Law Faculty of Université de Montréal, where he was also a guest speaker on the same subject. He continues to give conferences on the subject before various audiences. Since 1983, he has been participating in the Barreau du Québec professional training program.
