Dennis Griffin specializes in labour law. His practice mainly involves applications for certification, the negotiation of collective agreements and grievance arbitration. His expertise also includes individual employment contracts, non-competition and confidentiality obligations, executive lay-offs, anti-scab investigations, training and personnel management policies, and motions involving successor companies.
Mr. Griffin also represents clients in proceedings relating to wrongful dismissal and dismissal without cause as well as in files involving extraordinary remedies, especially injunctions. His practice includes files relating to human rights and consultation with respect to industrial relations and occupational health and safety. He has extensive experience in redefining bargaining units for scientific and technical personnel.
