Managing Partner, Québec Region
Éric Bédard is the Managing Partner for the Québec region. Member of the Partnership Board of Fasken Martineau DuMoulin since 2007, he practices mainly in the fields of labour and administrative law and also provides strategic counsel. He represents businesses from all activity sectors in matters ranging from the negotiation of collective agreements and complaints respecting unfair practices to judicial review applications and injunctions in various courts of law. He was involved in the restructuring of bargaining units for the Montréal Transition Committee. He works with firms in both the private and public sectors.
Assistant Chief of Staff and secretary to the Premier of Québec from 1994 to 1996, Éric has an in-depth knowledge of Québec government structures. Armed with this experience, he represents clients preparing for legislative or regulatory changes, in their negotiations with government agencies and before the National Assembly. He has also acquired particular expertise in petroleum price regulation acting before the Régie de l'énergie du Québec.
