EXFO closes $40 million bought deal financing

On February 19, 2004, EXFO Electro-Optical Engineering Inc., completed a public offering of subordinate voting shares for gross proceeds of $40,040,000. CIBC World Markets Inc. led the offering and the other syndicate members included BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., National Bank Financial Inc., RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and TD Securities Inc.

EXFO was represented by Fasken Martineau in Montréal and Québec City with a team that included Robert Paré, Peter Villani, Frédéric Boucher, Simon Marchand-Fortier and Sébastien Hébert (securities, mergers and acquisitions) and Benoit Dupuis (taxation).
