Fasken Martineau advises Amundi and Galileo Partners in Takeover of Sarenza by its Managers
January 16, 2012
Paris (France) - Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law and litigation firm, announced today that
Lubomir Roglev, a partner at the firm's Paris office, advised Amundi Private Equity Funds and Galileo Partners in Stéphane Treppoz and Hélène Supau's takeover of Sarenza, the company that they have managed since 2007.
The two directors have brought their joint stock ownership in the company up to 80% through their purchase of shares from long-standing investment funds and angel investors, of which several were facing liquidity challenges.
The transaction was financed by Arkea Banque Entreprises et Institutionnels and Crédit Agricole Brie Picardie.
Born in 2005, Sarenza now runs the largest online shoe store in France or Europe, carrying over 500 brands of shoes, handbags and accessories, with over a million products in stock. In November, sarenza.com was named « Best Fashion Site », taking home the public choice award at the 5th annual «Nuit des Favor'i», organized by FEVAD (France's e-commerce and distance selling federation).
