All businesses use telecommunications, and there are features of Canadian telecommunications laws that regulate such use. We will explain some of these features and also discuss the different types of service providers, the extent to which they are regulated, and how businesses can protect their interests in procuring telecommunications services. Our presentation will include:

  • The implications of the national do-not-call list
  • How CRTC regulation of Internet traffic management and wholesale rates affects the Internet services of businesses
