First Quantum Minerals proceedings against the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)
A Canadian mining company instituted proceedings against the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). The dispute arose from the DRC's actions against certain companies and mines in which the Canadian mining company held an interest.
