Lynne Golding was featured in the fall edition of the Governance Centre of Excellence Update e-Newsletter as part of OHA's interview series, Leaders Building the Health System of Tomorrow. During this interview, Lynne discussed the amendments to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) that brings hospitals under the Freedom of Information (FOI) regime beginning January 1, 2012. Specifically, Lynne provided insight on how FIPPA impacts board members, the types of records that are held by board members that may be subject to a Freedom of Information (FOI) request and general advice for boards in overseeing implementation.
