Glendale International completes sale of electronics business to Circuit World

On July 31, 2003, Glendale International Corp. completed the sale of its electronics business to Circuit World Corporation. Glendale received 8,541,987 Circuit World common shares resulting in Glendale owning approximately 49% of the outstanding voting shares of Circuit World. The combined entity ranks as the largest aerospace and defence supplier of advanced technology printed circuit boards in Canada and among the top 25 printed circuit board manufacturers in North America. Both Glendale and Circuit World are listed on the TSX.

Glendale was represented by Fasken Martineau with a team that included David Harley, Av Maharaj, Mark Camilleri and Sonia Cardillo (corporate), Georges Dubé (securities), Ralph Nero (labour), Steve Blimkie (real estate) and Rosalind Cooper (environmental).
