Grant Forest Products CCAA proceedings

On June 25, 2009, Grant Forest Products Inc. and certain of its subsidiaries obtained an Order granted by Judge Frank Newbould of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act ("CCAA") in Canada.

Grant Forest Products, based in Earlton, Ontario, has more than $600 million in secured debt.

Fasken Martineau is advising the independent directors of Grant Forest Products in this reorganization with a team led by Jon Levin and including Edmond Lamek and Stuart Brotman.
